Reminder for parents: COVID-19 vaccinations urged for kids 6 months and older

Even as the U.S. gears up for a new round of vaccinations this fall that specifically addresses omicron variants, SSM Health is reminding parents that many of our sites stand ready to provide vaccines for children 6 months and older.

SM Health is currently providing COVID-19 primary series vaccines for everyone ages 6 months and up, and COVID-19 boosters for everyone ages 5 years and older, if eligible, in accordance with the current recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Patients who are moderately or severely immunocompromised have specific recommendations for COVID-19 vaccines, including boosters. Learn more about COVID-19 vaccine recommendations for people who are moderately or severely immunocompromised.

For your convenience, COVID-19 vaccinations are available at many locations. Visit our COVID-19 page for locations in your area.

If you reside in the St. Louis region, the below SSM Health Medical Group pediatric and family medicine offices offer the vaccines for children. In addition, they are also available at all our SSM Health Cardinal Glennon primary care offices and on-campus specialty care clinics:
